Gather Learning allows leading universities, museums, scientific, and cultural institutions to bring their experiences together in coherent and meaningful ways for their members and for the public. With Gather, organizations can easily connect their people, programs, and insights to drive impact for all of the communities they serve.
Gather Learning is a platform that museums and cultural institutions use to increase engagement with their programs, and create line of sight for business users across their members’ usage. Massive amounts of data are being captured for each program across an extensive data pipeline consisting of their application DB (Postgres on Heroku), PostHog DB, and Snowflake. Their admin users then had to conduct their own analysis and sort through the data to dig up insights to improve program effectiveness. Not only was this not scalable, but also limited their ability to make recommendations and create new data visualizations - quickly.
With Explo, Gather was able to create embedded dashboards at a much faster clip, and share the data with their admin users within a matter of days as opposed to months. Once integrated into the data stack, Gather’s developers used Explo's drag-and-drop interface to quickly create dashboards that embed into their web application. Explo provides the foundation and supporting documentation that Gather's developers require to build new dashboards, reports, and insights. For example, with Explo’s platform, iterating on dashboards based on customer feedback and requests is now streamlined and changes can be done in minutes. Member engagement data is seamlessly collected from Gather's application and databases and routed to embedded dashboards that can be customized based on requests and responses from customers.
With Explo as the foundation for all customer-facing analytics (dashboards, reporting, etc.), Gather's dev team saved countless dev hours by utilizing Explo's low-code interface to integrate directly into their data infrastructure and deliver secure embedded analytics to customer end users.
