New UI elements: dropdowns, datepickers, and more

We are excited to ship one of our most heavily requested features: dropdowns filters for end user interactions. Many of you want to build dashboards with more complex UIs that allow your users to interact with the dashboard

With this in mind, we have introduced the ability to flexibly drag UI components on to the canvas. In addition to data panels and visualizations, you can now add dropdown selectors, datepickers, and text elements to your dashboards.
